Happydent ad ...

These days, ads about chewing gum/teeth whiteners run amok on television. This one (Happydent) stands out among all of them.

Everything in this ad, from the outrageous concept, to the wonderful score, to the short but really nice lyrics, and of course, the breathtaking visuals, is worth the kind of frequency it is aired at.

Confession ...

Some songs on heavy rotation on FM radio these days (for instance Mallika! I hate you) make you wonder: who buys these albums?

Guilty conscience: I am one of them.

On the way back from Manali, we were rather tired of the single CD that was worth listening too (and it was Aksar, imagine what the rest of them were, which probably explains why I curse the drive to Manali). So I quickly stepped into the first music shop on the road and came up with this.

No, I can not loan the CD to you (we donated the CD to the driver when we reached Delhi :-)

Bumper stickers on trucks in India provide some people a very creative outlet. Somebody should invite these guys on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge ...
